The weather is so up and down here that is a necessity to quickly transition an outfit from summer to fall, or vice versa. My absolute favourite way to take an outfit from summer to fall, is by throwing a sweater over a summer dress. Today, Mabel is wearing the Splendid "Polka Dot Dress" with Velvet's "Dione" sweater. For jewellery, I kept it light with long necklaces from Jocelyn Kennedy, Karyn Chopik, and BRITTA. The statement necklace by JK is perfect for fall as it will balance out a heavier sweater. I'd also change up the shoes, for summer I see this with a nice pair of wedge sandals, but for fall, short biker boots would add a bit of edge.
