We're dying over the "Shadow Stripe Sweater" in Acorn. This gorgeous, intricate knit is a dressier variation of everyone's favorite chunky sweater. It's super cozy, and that little bit of shimmer adds a feminine touch which we all LOVE!!! This sweater looks great worn over a sequin bra...if its not tooooo chilly outside that is!

"Luxe Colorblock Sweater" in Heather Platinum Thunder

Who wouldn't LOVE a fabulously luxe cashmere sweater, ESPECIALLY one that's color-blocked!!! Vince's "Luxe Colorblock" sweater in Heather Platinum Thunder is TO DIE FOR!!! 

 We love the way this sweater drapes so effortlessly, and of course how COMFORTABLE and COZY it is!!! It's perfect thrown on with a pair of jeans, or dressed up with a pair of black skinnies and...of course, a statement necklace.

Rebecca Taylor: GORGEOUS Lace Peplum!!!

We just received (right in time for holiday party season) Rebecca Taylor's GORGEOUS "Cap Sleeve Demi Peplum Top" in Cream/Black. The contrast of the cream and black is absolutely stunning, and the soft ponte fabric makes for a very comfortable top! The peplum is also super flattering, and a detail we're OBSESSED with!

This flirty little number would look amazing dressed up with either a pencil skirt and/or a pair of black skinny pants, and a statement necklace OF COURSE!!!

New Day, New Brand: Happiness

Happiness clothing launched in LA in 2007 by founder Mike Scarpellini and a group of like-minded peers. Funky t-shirts and casual wear are the basis of his line whose images are "inspired by current news, music, and gossip." All goods within the line are produced by Scarpellini's family-owned factory in Rimini, Italy, and have garnered a cult following amongst the masses; after all, who wouldn't want a little "Happiness"???

One of our absolute faves this delivery, the "Paris Baseball Tee" in White/Black, features an inverted Eiffel Tower; this top looks fab paired with distressed skinnies and ankle boots, all that's missing is a fur accented leather jacket and Chan Luu scarf!

Britt's Must Have!!!

Soooo... it appears as though winter has arrived, and I have to say I am DEVASTATED, as I'm sure most of you are! It's already FREEEEEZING outside, and I'm not someone who functions well in the cold, so this week, my must have is DEFINITELY PJ Salvage's "Cozi Cardi" in Taupe. Not only is it one of the COMFIEST things I've ever tried on, it may also be one of the WARMEST. Just like a snuggie, these cardis are like blankets with arms, except not too long that you can't move around in them. 

I'm pretty sure once I pick one up for myself, I'm not going to want to take it off....EVER!!!

After much fuss and turmoil getting ready this morning, Mabel has come up with the perfect outfit for lunch and shopping with the girls. Line's super cool "Huntsman" leather jacket in Caviar looks edgy paired with Lauren Moshi's "Frankie Wonder Woman Tee" in White/Black, and of course, NO outfit is complete without at least a few sparkly statement necklaces!!!

"Sugarland Tee" in Bone and "Fairfax Top" in Black

We're all HUGE fans of Nation Ltd. around here; their vast assortment of tanks and tees all seem to have that perfect mix of dressy and casual. At the moment, we're CRAZY over Nation's use of faux leather accents in their tops; this added detail further separates them from others in their category. Both the "Sugarland Tee" in Bone and "Fairfax Top" in Black are MUST HAVES!!! Wouldn't they be great paired with leather leggings and boots?!

"Mariner Pants" in Caviar

We've seen the jogger pants around now for the last few seasons. Clearly, this look is NOT going away anytime soon due to its extreme versatility; dress them up, dress them down, these pants look incredible either way.

We're particularly fond of Joie's "Mariner Pants" in Caviar. Made of a slightly heavier fabric, they seem to drape and hang in all the right places. They look great worn with a silk blouse and pointed toe pumps, but my favourite is seeing them paired with a leather jacket and linen tee. FABULOUS.

Seriously, how gorgeous is the "Aleene Tank" in Porcelain??? This laser cut, floaty top is PERFECTION...great under a chunky sweater coat, with your favourite skinny jeans, and ankle boots, OR, when spring rolls around again, with a pair of denim shorts and gladiator sandals. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this one!

I also couldn't wait to get my hands on the "Glenna Top", also available in Porcelain. This airy, slightly oversized blouse is a silk lover's dream, guaranteed to be in HEAVY rotation this season and next!!!

We all know and love Chan Luu for her beautiful bracelets and to die for scarves, but did you know she also does apparel?!! CRAZY, we know!!! Like everything else in the line, her clothing is out of this world... ridiculously, shamelessly, unapologetically GORGEOUS!!! It was impossible to choose, but the following are some of our early favourites:

Chan Luu's "Sequin Bra" should be in every fashionista's closet. This wardrobe "necessity" is a must under open knit sweaters and off the shoulder tops ;)

"Seamed Skinny" in Crackled Leather-Like Wine

We've mentioned numerous times on this blog that 7FAM is a company that makes SURE they remain at the forefront of denim design and technology; therefore, it was NOT a surprise to us when we received the "Seamed Skinny" in Crackled Leather-Like Wine. 7FAM worked their magic and turned KNIT fabric into something that looks and feels like genuine suede leather...unbelievable!!!

I LOVE these pants; I think they'd look fabulous paired with a denim shirt, leopard printed belt, ankle booties, and a Chan Luu scarf...oh, and we mustn't forget a statement necklace :)

7FAM: Grey And Black Story

With past seasons showing denim in a wide range of colours, you could say designers are now going back to basics. That being said, colour is NOT going anywhere, but, what we are seeing is a return of classic Grey and Black...

I LOVE 7FAM's "Fashion Zipped Skinny" in Grey Sateen and "Leather". These shorter length skinnies with contrast paneling and zipper accented details, both at the front and ankle, are SO fashion forward! I think they'd be incredible paired with a crisp, button down shirt, statement necklace, and pointed toe pumps.

I'm also OBSESSED with the "Skinny" in Floral Flocked Denim; I love the velvet-like texture of the floral brocade. I see these worn with a boyfriend blazer, fitted turtleneck, and super-sized pearl studs...SOOOO classic yet modern at the same time, what's not to love???

7FAM's second skin "Skinny" in Grey/Black Destroyed are ridiculously cool!!! In addition to being incredibly stretchy, these jeans have fading and tears in ALL the right places. If you're a rocker chick at heart, these are an absolute MUST HAVE, no question about it! Pair them with your favourite leather jacket and graphic tee to play up the edge factor, or with a boyfriend blazer and lace cami for a sexy evening alternative. LOVE these!!!

What's Mabel Wearing???

Mabel's jetting off to New York this weekend to do some Christmas shopping with friends. She needs to look fabulous strutting down Fifth Avenue, so, of course, shes pulled out her most FABULOUS fur vest, H Brand's "Grace Rabbit Fur Vest" in Ash. Mabel's decided to pair it with Velvet's "Cleopatra Blouse" in Cream. She's also rocking Mackage's "Navaki" side purse in Merlot, and an assortment of our FAVE crystal statement necklaces!!! Mabel looks SUPER glamorous, and will definitely fit in...OR STAND OUT amongst all the New York fashionistas! Once she throws on a pair of light skinnies, and nude high heeled booties, there'll be nothing getting in the way of her strut!

There's NO escaping super heroes around here; Marvel-based characters are seen everywhere from the big screen to fashion nowadays. This being the case, it was only a matter of time before these much beloved insignias started to appear on everyone's favourite graphic tees: Lauren Moshi!!!

These tees, while nostalgic and kitschy to some, remain true to the Lauren Moshi "formula," great cut, great style, great FUN!!! Wear them year round...now, under a chunky sweater coat with your favourite skinnies, and boots, and later, with a pair of denim cut offs and converse sneakers. We CAN'T get enough of these tees!!!

Because of the jersey fabric, this skirt would be perfect topped off with a leather jacket, graphic, tee, and lace-up booties; for something a little more sophisticated, a fitted turtleneck, opaque tights, and knee high boots will suffice.

We're SO excited, yet again, to bring another fabulous line to our fashionistas: Rails. Launched in 2006, this casual yet fashionable line combines California comfort with European styling. Famous for their button down shirts, Rails places great importance on the quality of their fabrics as well as the tailoring of their garments. This ultra soft, broken in, sweatshirt feeling hoodie is the perfect thing to slip into on those cold, blustery, winter days; the glow in the dark angle wings on the back is a to die for feature, and enough to bring a smile to a cold fashionista's face!!!

The "Amulet Chain Hippie Crew" in Clean White is perfect for that bohemian princess! The image of feathers and crystals hanging from the neckline gives this tee a feminine touch. Although a little too soon to imagine it worn with shorts, this top would be great layered under a plaid shirt, with leather leggings and boots.

"20's Girl Cozy Raglan" in Baby

 

I think the "20's Girl Cozy Raglan" in Baby is SO adorable! This Gatsby inspired tee with its scoop neckline, fitted sleeves, and relaxed body is screaming out for distressed skinnies, ankle boots, and a Chan Luu scarf.

What's Mabel Wearing???

Mabel has been patiently awaiting Rebecca Taylor's "Embellished Tweed Jacket" in Cream, and now that it's finally here, she's not about to pass it up! It's truly, without a doubt, TO DIE FOR!!!

Today, Mabel is wearing it with Splendid's "Skater Skirt" and Free People's "Racer Back Crop Bra," both in Black. As these pieces look quite edgy on their own, shes decided to add some necklaces by Catherine Popesco and our new private label to GLAM things up. To finish off her ensemble, shes also sporting Rebecca Minkoff's "Mab Tote Mini" in Port for a pop of color. 

We LOVE her outfit, and think she looks both classy and edgy! We can definitely see her wearing it out for a night of wining and dining with her girlfriends, which, coincidentally is what she has planned for the evening!
We know Mabel will impress her friends with her fabulous look, and hopefully gives them something to gossip about ;)

I'm loving the "Embellished Tweed Jacket" in Cream! The classic silhouette has been injected with rock n' roll edge with studs and gems lining the neckline and pocket welts. Although this jacket would look fantastic over a LBD, I think it would be even more amazing worn with a graphic tee, skinny jeans, and ankle booties.

Rebecca Taylor's "Metallic Tweed Jacket" in Navy/Silver is the product of tweed, sparkle, and leather done right!!! This blazer styled jacket is kept fresh and modern through its single hook and eye closure, and raw edge trim throughout. To play up the edge quotient, pair this jacket with your favourite linen tee and leather leggings.

We're ecstatic over Rebecca Taylor's most recent delivery; as far as we're concerned, it's ALWAYS a good thing whenever and wherever leopard print is "spotted".

I LOVE the "Long Sleeve Wildcat Sweater" in Desert!!! Today is the perfect day for Vince's "Drape Neck Sweater" in Black. This ultra-luxe 100% cashmere knit, with extra long sleeves, and soft cowly neck is SUPER cozy and EXTREMELY fashionable! I think it'll be amazing paired with a leather jacket, dark skinny jeans and motorcycle boots, a definite MUST!!!

Graham and Spencer

We LOVE Graham and Spencer's "Lace Stitch Sweater" in Black! It's a more feminine, toned down version of a chunky knit sweater. The shorter length and closer fitting body makes for a cleaner more sophisticated look.
