Summer's almost over, but that doesn't mean we're ready to give up on refreshing fruity cocktails. This "Berry Mint Gimlet" incorporates a refreshing medley of berries, herbs, gin, and bubbly. We know it'll be a runaway hit at your next cocktail party!!!
Berry Mint Gimlet
1 Cup Berries
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Water
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Water
1 Package of Mint
1 Bottle of Prosecco/Sparkling Wine
Gin
1 Bottle of Prosecco/Sparkling Wine
Gin
- Create a simple syrup by combing berries, mint, water, and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to boil and let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Let simple syrup cool completely, strain out berries and mint and put in container. The simple syrup may be made ahead of time and will keep up to a week.
- In a cocktail glass, combine 1/2 oz. simple syrup, 1 oz. gin and 2 oz. prosecco/sparkling wine
- Garnish with a fresh berry and ENJOY!
