James Perse can always be counted upon for basics that are not only comfortable, but stylish as well. Fresh out of the box are the "Salt & Pepper Drawstring Skirt" in Charcoal and "Knit Twill Slim Cargos" in Jungle.

I LOVE this skirt! I find it incredibly flattering and versatile...pair it with a chunky oversized sweater and booties for a great casual outfit, or with a leather jacket, fitted tank, and fabulous platforms for a nice evening alternative. 

"Knit Twill Slim Cargo" in Jungle

As mentioned in previous entries, cargos are back in a BIG way, and JP's version done in a knit twill is a fantastic option! I love the slimmer cut of these pants, and think they'd be amazing worn with a leather jacket, graphic tee, wedge sneakers, and a Chan Luu scarf. I can see a number of our fashionable moms going about their busy days in this ensemble, that's for sure!!!

Mackage: More Than Coats

We're familiar with Mackage for their to die for outerwear, but we've also just fallen in love with their new handbag collection...

"Novaki" and "Carrie" in Merlot

"Jori" in Blue and "Titan" in Tan

Constructed of the same great quality leather and suede as their jackets and coats, these handbags are finished off beautifully with carefully chosen fabric and hardware accents...we'd expect nothing less coming from Mackage!!!

I'm OBSESSED with Mackage's "Samantha" coat in Black!!! I love the updated features of this timeless classic: the logo embossed buttons, oversized lapels, leather epaulets and button tabs, and most of all, the exposed zips on either side. This jacket easily transitions from a collegiate/academic feel with a basic sweater, skinnies, and flats to an edgy/androgynous one with a fitted turtleneck, leather leggings, and boots.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this one!!!

Mackage: Elevated Military

I LOVE that we're once again carrying Mackage's woolen winter coats; it would've been a fashion travesty had we not received the "Vena" and "Dale" jackets, both in Grey! As the products of an elevated military trend, both coats make heavy use of leather and zipper accents; while the look is always fashion forward, the cut remains classic and true to form.

What's Mabel Wearing???

Mabel is SO excited for fall! She's been drooling over everything that's been trickling into YU the past few weeks, and is all about layering up since Edmonton weather is so unpredictable. This week, Mabel is wearing Rebecca Taylor's "Rib Trim Long Sleeve Blouse" in Black with AG's "Debbie Vest" in Black Slick. To accessorize, she has on Chan Luu's python print scarf and necklaces by both House of Harlow and Jocelyn Kennedy. This look would be perfect with a pair of black skinny jeans and booties! There are so many different ways you can wear this outfit; wear just the vest and shirt, wear the shirt and necklaces, wear the shirt and scarf...oh, the possibilities are endless!!!
