Britt's Must Have!!!

As per usual, there is an item in the store that I MUST HAVE!!! Are you surprised? I'm sure not, and I know my poor wallet isn't either! Anyways...the item of which I speak is Rebecca Minkoff's "Mab Tote" in
Almond!!! It's true perfection, and I'm not afraid to admit that I am madly in love with it!

This fabulous tote happens to be the perfect size for all my girly necessities, and it would fit my school books perfectly! Might I also add that it would be the perfect travel buddy!!! I've been looking for the perfect bag for quite some time, and am relieved to say I've finally found one that meets all my needs and requirements!

WARNING: There may be faint traces of drool on this bag, and I cannot promise that the drool doesn't belong to me!

We ALL love Chan Luu scarves, that's not a secret, but there's always room in a fashionistas' closet for just one more brand...introducing LEIGH & LUCA. "Ditzy Chambray Tank" in Chambray

This "Ditzy Chambray Tank" by Splendid is SO adorable! Detailed with a petite floral print (I think they actually look like tiny clovers), this sleeveless chambray top has a definite vintage feel. I love it styled with white skinnies, but think it would be equally fab with coloured denim, especially all the soft hued ones, Mint in particular!!!

Parker

If your wardrobe is looking a little drab, and could use an injection of bright, "happy" colour, then this latest delivery from Parker may be right up your alley.

Either of these tops would be great paired with your favourite jeans. For an added touch of polish, top the look off with a blazer or leather jacket. I love the "Bambi Top" in Spearmint...imagine it partially tucked into dark skinnies, with a leopard print belt, and ballet flats. Uber C-H-I-C!!!

 Also, we are all currently OBSESSED with the "Prism Dress" in Black Tie-Dye; it is beyond gorgeous!!! With "leather" trim around the collar, arm holes, and strategically placed, side cut-outs, this dress is sooooo unique and special. If you've got a wedding or special function coming up, please, please, PLEASE consider this, you won't regret it!!!

It's hard to believe on a day like today, BUT spring IS just around the corner, and you all know what that means...shorts, shorts, shorts! 7FAM's "Mid Roll-Up Short" in Rich Dark Destroyed is part of their Vintage 7 Collection, so each hole and worn in detail, has been carefully thought out and placed...no two items will look alike.

We got to talking about mixing different prints and patterns when she very cheekily grabbed two Rebecca Taylor pieces, one she already owned, the other she was very close to owning, and asked me, "Do these go together?" Prints, patterns, and graphics are all the rage this season.  Lately, when scoping out my closet for just a plain black tee, or a simple sweater to go with jeans, I realize I can't pull anything out of my closet without designs of flowers, and/or animals. No, I'm not writing this blog to announce that I am a crazy cat lady, but rather here to state the obvious: we are all in need of basics! Vince just sent us two pieces that fit our criteria of what we think are the perfect basics: the "Oversized Tee" in Black and "Linen Sweater" in White. Both of these would look awesome dressed up with leather leggings, or dressed down with a pair of your everyday favorite jeans. Have a look below at these two must haves:

What's Mabel Wearing???

Mabel is showing off her inner GIRLY GIRL these days! This week shes decided to wear Lauren Moshi's "Nancy Foil Tank" in Ballerina and Joie's "Jordyn B Blazer" in Caviar.  In addition to these fabulous pieces,  Mabel has on a ton of glitzy necklaces by Catherine Popesco and Jocelyn Kennedy. She is sparkling up a storm and catching everyone's attention as they walk by! Stereotypical girly girl I know, but we think this outfit is perfect for an afternoon spa session with the gals!

7FAM: Denim And Pearls

7FAM's "Denim Jacket with Pearl Embellishment" in Light Destroyed is the perfect balance between girly and edge. It has all the "prettiness" offered by pearl and silver studs along the front and back panels while maintaining the "edge" with just the right amount of distressing. How amazing would this jacket be as a topper to a graphic tee and lace short combo? Sooooooo good!

I love the "Crop Slim Cigarette" in Black/White Gloss Stripe, aka the "Beetlejuice" pants. It's both incredibly bold and simple at the same time. I think they would look sooo chic paired with just a simple black tee and flats, BUT imagine it with a graphic tee, leather jacket, and biker boots...sooo cool!

We all know of "Winter White," but what about "Spring White?" Is there such a thing?!? According to 7FAM, there most definitely is!!! Their "Slim Cigarette" in Clean White is the most perfect pant for the upcoming spring/summer season. Roomy through the thigh, yet slim in the leg, these pants will be fabulous with all your favourite footwear...a major criteria for most of us, isn't it???

Rebecca Taylor: Spotted Peplum

Adorbs, no?!? As expected, Rebecca Taylor's design team is at the forefront of ALL that is hot and of the moment, so obviously there needed to be a peplum top of some kind...introducing the "Leopard Peplum Tee" in Grey/Black. Made of the softest jersey imaginable, this top hits and drapes at the absolute puuuuuurrrrrfect spot! Not only do I love the look of it with jeans, but can you imagine the beauty that would result from a spotted, peplum, and leather pairing?!? TO-DIE!!!

Quote Of The Day

Something happened in the store today that had us ALL in stitches!!! A loooooong time regular, and absolute store favourite stopped by today for her weekly visit, which we ALWAYS look forward to; however, I had a bit of bad news to break, so was feeling a tad nervous. I was waiting to see whether or not we could bring in a top for her which had sold out weeks ago. Needless to say, we couldn't. Although very disappointed, I said not to worry she'd "survive," to which she replied, "Of course I'll survive, I always survive, but...not very well!!!" LOL!!!
