What's Mabel Wearing???

Mabel has decided to slip into something a little bit more...conservative! She's had a blast partying and dressing in festival styles for Coachella, but now feels she really needs to pop back into reality, and dress in something more reserved. She has on Joie's "Concelta Short" and "Debben Tank" both in Julep. We all know that NOBODY does easy sophistication like Joie, nobody! Mabel also has on Ella Moss' "Mazzy Blazer" in Cream, Rebecca Minkoff's "Mac Daddy" bag in Almond, and a sparkly bumble bee necklace by Catherine Popesco. To finish off this look, we suggest Ugg's "Lucina" wedges in Champagne.

Maison Scotch

Are you feeling like channeling your inner boho self? If so, we just received Maison Scotch's "Silky Blouse" in Buttercup...FABULOUS!!! This top would look great paired with distressed denim shorts, and accessorized with Chan Luu wrap bracelets and brown booties. It's impossible to go wrong with such an easy, simple, not to mention, cool look!

Winter Kate

There's only one word to describe our latest instalment of Winter Kate: BEAUTIFUL. We received the "Luna Jacket" in Skye and "Moon Top" in Web Latte. The former is perfect for adding that "wow" factor to a fairly simple outfit; imagine denim or tan leather shorts with a silky beige top, booties, AND this jacket...simply stunning!!! (Adding an arm party to this outfit wouldn't be a bad idea either...!) The latter is a great top for skinnies and/or a pair of black shorts; dress it up with bracelets, large earrings, and wedges for a stunningly, feminine look.

Parker

Looking for funky silks that add some color to your closet? Look no further...just in from Parker are some fabulous silk tanks and dresses. We received three different style of tanks, all in different colors and cuts. The "Arc Top" in Surf is a great choice for skinny jeans and heels; the cut out in the back adds a funky detail to a seemingly "simple" tank. The "Sawyer Top" in Grapefruit is a great blouse style tank; this multiple purpose top will come in handy when at the office, or out for drinks on a Friday afternoon. We have a little obsession with this next beauty, the "Ella Top" in White and Black. This silky, basic tank is perfect for layering under ALL your lace tanks and sheer tops. The best part about this top is the back; there is a rouching detail down the spine that adds some definite interest! Finally, we also received two dresses: one maxi, the other shorter. The "Layne Dress" in Botanic is one of our favorite maxi dresses; it's perfect for a summer event, such as a wedding. Odd Molly

We just received some pretty, feminine pieces from Odd Molly (we really don't expect anything less!!!); the "All In Blouse" in Almost Black and the "Senora Cardi" in White. Both pieces are excellent not-so-basic basics. The shirt is cute on its own with the crochet detailing and bow, making it an easy "go-to" top for an unexpected night out. The "Senora Cardi," the perfect cropped cardigan, will be perfect to throw on over that dress that isn't quite complete without something covering the shoulders.

AG: Vest and More

If you've been on the search for a fabulous pair of slouchy denim shorts or a denim vest you should probably STOP SEARCHING!!! AG has once again answered all our prayers!!!

We just received their "Hailey Ex-Boyfriend" roll up shorts in 5 Years Distressed, and their "Heather" denim vest in Mirage. We're positive that they're both to DIE for!!! You really cannot go wrong with either of them!

 The shorts would look fabulous with a silky blouse and a pair of booties while the vest would pretty much look great with anything. We could definitely see it over a cute sun dress!

AG's "Legging Ankle" are my absolute favourites, F-A-V-O-U-R-I-T-E!!! I love them in every wash, in every configuration. In my opinion, they're PERFECT; ending right around the ankle, these jeans can be worn with flats, heels, and/or boots.

AG: New Day, New "Body"

"Piper Crop" in 26 Years Thrasher

If the "Stilt Roll Up" is too narrow for your liking, the "Piper Crop" may be a better body. While still slim in the leg, this cut has a slightly looser fit all around with a definite "slouch" in the hip. The sun-bleached look of the 26 Years Thrasher makes them ideal for the summer months ahead.

We're also loving the look offered by the Water Bottle Blue wash. These are easy both in fit and on the environment; 39% of the fabric used in the construction of these jeans are made from recycled yarns from domestic plastic bottles, pretty cool!!!

There's a reason why AG's "Stilt Roll Up(s)" sell out every season. Not only is the slim and stretchy silhouette extremely flattering, but these particular ones, the 14 Years Thrasher, have a distinct "Rock and Roll" edge to them. They'd be perfect with a cropped leather jacket, fitted tank, and sky high platforms...oh, and we can't forget the STATEMENT necklace!

Joie: Classic With A Twist

Joie's iconic "Rancher" Top is back, this time with a twist!!! The snake print lends an air of sophistication to this classic top, while the unusual colour definitely revs up the "fun" quotient. For a casual look, pair this top with cropped skinnies and boots, but for evening, try leather pants and platforms.

We've received yet another fabulous grouping from Joie (yay!!!), and as always, there was indeed a lace top (or two, or three) with my name written ALL over it!!! One of my all time faves, the "Cina" tank made an encore appearance, this time in Porcelain, Caviar, and Bright Fuschia (below). I love this tank worn on its own, or under a cropped leather jacket with everything from shorts to skinnies. Perfection!

I also adore the "Devine" top in Off White...SO gorgeous!!! I love the romantic feel of the crochet, and think it would pair beautifully with either leather shorts, or anything distressed; the combination of "soft" and "hard" always proves interesting...

For accessories, Mabel has chosen a pile of necklaces by Chan Luu and Jugar N Spice, and is wearing our favorite Brave suede cross body pouch. The only thing she needs now are a pair of suede booties, a big floppy sun hat, and some over-sized sunnies!!!

As you know, all of us here at YU are obsessed with lace. Whether it's a shirt, scarf, and/or hat, we have it all, so we thought the most obvious and practical way to handle our obsession was to get lace patterned pants. New from 7FAM are "The Skinny" jeans in Layered Lace and Etched Floral; treat them as your everyday "throw ons," or use them as alternatives to traditional dress pants for an evening out.

I'm SO excited for Rebecca Taylor's "Tweed and Chain Jacket" in Blue; it feels like I've been waiting forever and a day for it!!! This jacket strikes the perfect balance between girly and edge...the nipped in waist and peplum detail plays up the femininity factor, while the polished chain accents and frayed edges amps up the "rock" quotient. This was definitely worth the wait, definitely!!!

If you've been searching for a pop of colour, OR if you're a fan of the hi-lo hemline, Naven's "Bardot Blouse" in Chartreuse is sure to fit the bill. With collar detail and two front pockets, this top is ideal for wearing with your skinniest of skinnies, or tucked into a favourite pair of shorts.

I can't even begin to tell you how GORGEOUS the "Jacket w/ Shoulder Patch Detail" is; it's beyond anything I've seen in quite some time. I love the idea of it worn with a graphic tee, skinnies, and boots, but can also see it as a topper to a figure hugging dress and booties. This is a definite must!!! Definitely!!!

Britt's Must Have!!!

This week there are two items in store that I desperately would like to own!!! We've been getting in SO much stock lately that I couldn't possibly chose only one!

The first on my list is our new Electric Blue Doma leather Jacket. Words cannot describe how amazing this jacket is! It's buttery soft, and the color is absolutely to die for!!! It's the perfect statement piece, and could totally be dressed up or down for any occasion.

Second on my list are our new Ash "Bowie Wedges" in Indigo. I am aware that I have chosen two items that are blue, but I really couldn't help myself. They've both been screaming at me with their vibrant hues! Anyways...these booties are as equally amazing as the jacket. I fell in love with this style in the fall when we received them in Black and Plum; I actually purchased my first pair in Black. I truly have never been more satisfied with a pair of shoes, and love how great they can make a pair of jeans look. I am also extremely surprised with how comfortable they are; I could wear them all day and and not feel any discomfort at all! My undeniable love for these fabulous booties has me craving another pair!
