I'm soooooo all over Splendid's "Chambray Shirt" in Indigo. ALL. OVER. IT. It has the "structured" look of a traditional denim button-down, but has the incredibly soft feel and drape of a vintage tee. It's a complete dream on! I love it styled with white shorts, and think it would be amazing with anything leathery on the bottom, anything!!!

What's Mabel Wearing???

Mabel dove at the opportunity to test out our NEW and FABULOUS collection of printed, silky pants and knits! She has on Velvet's "Hilton Pants" in Seafoam and Graham and Spencer's "Techno Mesh Tee" in Rice. Shes accessorized these great pieces with Rebecca Minkoff 's gorgeous "Mab Tote" in Almond (which we are all OBSESSING over), Brave's "Ricci" belt, and a Charlene K green agate necklace. We'd say she looks very Boho-Chic; we could definitely see her strolling though a farmer's market in L.A. on a sunny Saturday afternoon!

"Slub Stripe Jacket" in Navy Cream

I adore FP's "Slub Stripe Jacket" in Navy/Cream!!! It has a boho-collegiate vibe to it which I think is pretty cool. I'd love this jacket thrown over a linen tank, denim shorts, and ankle booties, OR for right now, over a basic tee, skinnies, boots, and an over-sized cashmere scarf.

Soft Joie: Pattern Mixing

Told you the "Jogging Pant" trend was going to be HUGE!!! Look at what we received from Soft Joie...

"Risa Top" in Peabody and "Morley Pant" in Porcelain/Caviar

Known for their sumptuous fabrics and comfy cuts, everything from this line is an absolute MUST, especially the "Risa Top" in Peabody and "Morley Pant" in Porcelain/Caviar. Both pieces are great on their own, but I LOVE the look of them together; the stripes in the top work beautifully with the retro graphic pant. All that needs to be added now is a denim jacket, booties, AND a statement necklace...casual can be glam too, right?!!!

Lily Aldridge For Velvet

Lily Aldridge, not only is she a Victoria's Secret Angel, but she's also been the official "face" behind at least a dozen of Velvet by Graham & Spencer's ad campaigns. Having walked innumerable runways, it was only a matter of time before she made that leap into the world of design. Last year she was approached by Velvet to design a capsule collection for them...the rest as they say, is HISTORY!

Wanting her pieces to reflect her own personality, Lily's designs really do run the gamut. You'll find everything from girlie girl frills to tomboy casual, because let's face it, most of us don't really know "who" we want to be that day until we get dressed in the mornings. We're all obsessed with the mesh sweater and pajama/jogging pant trends here at the store. There's something so effortlessly chic about this look, whether worn together or separately. Graham & Spencer's interpretation of BOTH these trends are completely spot on!!!

Jolly Odd Molly!!!

I LOVE it when we get Odd Molly...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!! It's always exciting to see all the fabulous colour and texture combinations, nobody does it quite as well. Again, I can NEVER decide which one(s) to get, so I thought I'd pick my top 4! How's that for a compromise?!?

Isn't the "Selene Blouse" gorgeous??? I think it's the absolute epitome of femininity...so delicate and pretty. I see it paired with distressed skinnies, boots, and layer upon layer of "Chanel-like" pearls...oooh la la!!!

Just in from Velvet are some fabulous spring finds!!! As per usual, there are WAY too many pieces to choose from, but I've narrowed it down to some of my absolute faves.

 I'm SO obsessed with the "Ruthie" top in Oyster!!! I love the look of this ladylike top worn with distressed denim; the juxtaposition of the two makes for a very interesting combination! Not only does it look fantastic paired with skinny jeans and boots, but said top would be fabulous with ripped cut-offs, flip flops, and a wrist full of gold, wooden, AND turquoise jingly jangles!!! Not to mention the fact that it has a peplum...one of, if not the biggest trend moving forward!

We know you've all been waiting for more, SOOOOO.....we are super excited to announce the arrival of a few NEW Kain pieces!!! Just like our previous shipment of Kain that you all fell in LOVE with, these new pieces are equally fabulous, and equally loveable! We received the "Willa Tee" in both White and a striped Taupe/White combo; we also have the "Tarin Dress" in Cinnamon which is TO DIE FOR!

I LOVE Ugg's "Lucianna" wedges in Champagne...loooooooooooooooove them!!! They're THE perfect sandal for flirty, summer dresses, but my favourite is seeing them paired with a slouchy, white dress shirt partially tucked into denim cut-offs...WITH tons of neck bling, of course!!!

"Tawnie" in Raspberry

Ugg's "Tawnie" wedges have made their official comeback, this time in Sapphire Blue and Raspberry. If you want to try colour, but are a little apprehensive, incorporating it in your footwear is a great and simple way to do so. Try pairing either of these up with a basic white tee and denim ensemble...it can't get any easier than that!

"Doha" in Black

Making its debut this season is the "Doha" wedge in Black. With a "modest" heel height (with platform!) and handwoven detail, these would be this summer's "go anywhere, wear with everything" shoe!!! They're definitely a "must" in my opinion, definitely!

"Stripe Jersey Shirt" in Heather Grey/White

James Perse's "Contrast Panel Shirt" is a classic; every fashionista has, or has had, at least one of these in her wardrobe over the years. I love their latest interpretation of this top, a slightly "nautical" version in a Heather Grey and White stripe. I can't wait to see this top worn with denim shorts, flip flops, and a Chan Luu scarf, OR with a blazer, skinnies, and boots.

There most definitely is a reason why this shirt sells out season after season...

7FAM...And Then There Was Pink!!!

Have we mentioned how much we loooooove 7FAM's "Slim Cigarette" pants??? We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them! With it's slim silhouette, and slightly roomier waist and thigh, these are one of this season's comfiest and most stylish cuts.

The fabulous weather we've been having has gotten us hopeful that spring is indeed just around the corner. We know you're all probably thinking the same thing...that it's the perfect time to pick up on some new spring pieces to amp up last year's wardrobe!!! We've just received a shipment of Free People that we're sure will do the trick. My personal favorite is the "Sequin Slip" in Shell; it's super cute and girly. I love the flirty feel of it, and think it would look fabulous with a denim jacket and booties!

We say it time and time again, but NOBODY does effortlessly chic better than Vince, nobody. Their most recent delivery, chalked full of slim-cut pants and drapey tops, is a testament to that. The following are just some of our faves:

I LOVE the "Silk Back Cashmere Sweater" in Black (pictured above). This top fuses together both cashmere and silk mediums, my two favourites: cashmere in the front, and silk in the back. Pair this sweater with ankle length skinnies and pointed toe pumps for a chic and sophisticated look.

Vince's "Stretch Wool Strapping Pants" are a working girl's dream! With it's slim silhouette and tonal stripe, these pants are a modernized take on the classic tuxedo pant. Pair with a silk button-down and heels for a polished office look, BUT throw on a lacy camisole, neck bling, and platforms for a sexy evening outfit!

"Tennis Shorts" in Black

How cute are these?!? I love Vince's "Tennis Shorts" in Black. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them!!! Made of a crisp, cotton twill with trouser styling, these shorts are NOT your typical Sunday market shorts. Instead, pair them with a sparkly tank and strappy sandals for an unexpected "dressy" look. Sooooo fabulous!

Are you still looking for that perfect jean shirt??? Look no further! We just received 7FAM's "Classic Denim Shirt" in Light Indigo. This 100% cotton, light-weight denim shirt will stand out against all others you have tried...it has that comfortable, "lived" in feel that you only get with your most favourite of things! This denim shirt will look awesome with a pair of black skinnies, tall boots, and a graphic tank (say, a Lauren Moshi perhaps?!).

What's Mabel Wearing???

Holy smokeshow! Mabel is channeling her inner diva this week, rocking one of the edgiest looks we've seen on her in awhile! She has on Vince's "Leather Sheer Back" top and the new Naven "Circle Shorts" both in Black. To avoid looking "matronly-like," Mabel put on some accessories to take this look up a notch; shes added the Mackage "Belle" leather jacket in Bone and Rebecca Minkoff 's "Mac Clutch" in Black. To take this look one step further, and transform this diva into the coolest looking gal in town, Mabel put on a House of Harlow "Station" necklace in Abalone.

 Warning to all the men out there, be sure to keep 911 on speed dial, other men have reported symptoms of cardiac arrhythmia after seeing this bombshell strut through town!

We LOVE our leathers...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them!!! How's a girl to decide??? The "Moto Jacket w/ Quilted Back" in Red is SUCH a beautiful colour and would be great over a sexy black dress, BUT the "Ombre Jacket w/ Detachable Hood" in Acru/Black would be fabulous over a Lauren Moshi tee and skinnies! That's it, the only "practical" thing to do is...buy both!!! Lol!

Look Of The Day: "Vintage" and "New"

Nothing makes me happier than seeing "Oldies but Goldies" on our customers, pieces that stand the test of time, and get better and better with "age." Such was the case for us this morning when Debbi Joffe, another Yu Fashion favourite, stopped by the store for a visit. She had on ALL my loves: Vince's "Fur Collar Cardigan," Joie's "Elvia" top, and Catherine Popesco "Crystal Collette" necklace...

What she did next, made me chuckle...she walked in the door wearing one outfit, and out with another!!! Well, not wearing it exactly, BUT it was in her bag when she left...LOL!!!
