Mabel is going casual this week in a Wildfox tee, and Doma leather vest. This look is definitely edgier then what she's used to, but the strands from Jocelyn Kennedy add a little sparkle, giving Mabel's look a girly touch. I love the contrast between the super edgy leather vest, and the crystal and turquoise necklaces!

Introducing David Lerner

We're ecstatic to welcome David Lerner to the Yu "family." David launched his eponymous clothing line in August 2008 wanting to combine both aesthetic, and comfort. What resulted were some of the most sought after leggings in Hollywood; not only are his leggings ultra comfortable to wear, but he's infused his designs with such unique detail that you'd be hard pressed to find another pair (similar) out there. The following is what we received from their Aviator Chic grouping...designs that were inspired by the first female pilots of their day...as you can see, the cargo pant is still very much relevant. Another feature of this pant that I love is the subtle camouflage print, what do you think? Yay or Nay???

The Chain Hairband can also be worn as a necklace, great layered with any of your fav Jocelyn Kennedy, or Claudia pieces.

What's Mabel Wearing?

Here at Yu, we are all huge fans of animal prints, and Mabel is no exception. The "Asymmetric Beauty" top from Free People has a subtle leopard print which makes this top less edgy, and more "girly" (the picture does not do this top justice!). A leather from Doma, in Beige, keeps Mable's look pretty, and feminine...a few strands from Claudia, and Jocelyn Kennedy completes Mabel's look.

Free People arrived today!!! I love how carefree the pieces are. My favorite is the "All Caught" sweater; I think it would look so cool with a Lauren Moshi underneath, or paired with a floral dress. This is just a sampling... you will have to drop in to see it all!

Two beautiful pieces arrived from Chan Luu today. The "Blue Mix on Dark Blue Leather" is perfect with denim, and would look awesome mixed with the grey Swarovski bling band. The "Gold Vermeil Feather Single Wrap Bracelet" is perfect layered with all your warm tone Chan Luu wraps, along with some wooden bracelets.

"Wild Child" is a great everyday cardigan...perfect to throw on over a basic tank and blue jeans. I love the "Monroe" cardigan...because of the ivory lace detail, I find it gives off a vintage-y vibe; I totally see myself throwing this on with a neck full of pearl necklaces, both long and short!!!

We received the "Stripe Dress" by Splendid; this dress is perfect for summer. I would wear this with wood necklaces, and a stack of Chan Luu bracelets. Stripes are a big trend in the summer time, so you might as well go all out!
