What's Mabel Wearing????

It is a double dosage of "What's Mabel Wearing????" seeing as Miss Mabel has been MIA recently. We decided to do two fun outfits, that are a little more fashion forward.

The first outfit: Mabel is wearing a Plastic Island Tweed Blazer with the Lauren Moshi "Pony" Tee underneath. For jewels, she is wearing two Jocelyn Kennedy double stranded necklaces, one in pearl and one in crystal! Mabel is definitely channeling Rachel Zoe in this outfit, all she needs is bell bottoms and tranny shoes... she will be good to go!

The second outfit reminds me of "Sex and the City." I love this Shoshanna purple leopard dress; we added the "Brave" skinny studded belt, and a Claudia bib necklace. The studded belt adds some edge to the dress and makes it a little more casual. If I were Mabel, I would wear this with an oversized boyfriend blazer for a fun night out! 

New Rich and Skinny!!!

We just received 4 new Rich and Skinny styles: the "Sleek" in Smokestone, the "Hutton Trouser" in Carbon, the "Cargo Legging" in Neptune, and the "Legacy" in Black Velvet (not pictured)! I love the Smokestone color, perfect for casual, and easily dressed up with jewels. The "Hutton Trouser" is super trendy, and yes, the wide leg is back! I would wear these pants with a t-shirt, cropped jacket, and a Chan Luu scarf. The "Cargo Legging" in Neptune, looks a bit vintage due to the colour of the stitching. They are also much stretchier than the previous shipment of Cargo Leggings. The "Legacy" in Velvet, are great for a night out, and will be perfect for future holiday parties. Velvet is a big trend for fall, so you know Yu Fashion will have you covered! Free People!

New "Free People" in this week! It is all super cute, and great for fall wardrobe pieces! Drop by and check it out!

New Joie!

We just received a new shipment of Joie! Pictured above are the "Hazel" and "Galina" Tanks. The "Hazel" Tank is available in Fir, a beautiful champagne color; it will pair perfectly with all the camel tones for fall. The "Galina" is absolutely genius; it is a sequin tank with a sheer silk overlay...smart because it subdues the bling of the sequins (making it appropriate for day), and the overlay prevents the sequins from catching on everything!! There is much more that came in this shipment, including Joie Cargo Pants...swing by and look!!!

New Nougat!!!

We just received a great fashion forward charcoal Nougat Cardi the silk "feather" detailing is so current (think Elizabeth & James). I would pair this with a Lauren Moshi tee, cargo pants, cool boots to give it a edgy vibe, or go all out glamorous and wear it with a great little top, earrings, and your favorite pants (red lips would be a must).

We also received two new Nougat dresses!! Perfect Party Dresses! The detailing is impeccable on both!!!

Claudia!

New pieces from Claudia have finally arrived. I know that most of you are big fans, and the new bracelets and necklaces that came in will not disappoint. More Mackage

More beautiful coats from Mackage have arrived! I know that we all want this warm fall weather to last, but winter is right around the corner. These coats will definitely keep you warm and toasty during the cold winter months. The Felicia coat ( pictured on the right), which we received in grey, is a great length and even has a hood to keep you extra warm. My favorite, the asymmetrical fur trimmed puffer coat ( pictured on the left), has fantastic bell shaped sleeves and you gotta love the fur!

7 For All Mankind

One of our favourite denim lines has come out with more "must-haves". We just opened a few new styles that will not disappoint!!! A new body is the Skinny bootcut in Rinsed Indigo. It's a super stretchy 9 oz. denim with minimal detailing and clean pockets (Aren't we all tired of that bling??). The fit is classic and fitted through the thighs to the knees; don't be afraid of the fit.....the denim really is so, so stretchy!!!

 

The other pants we received are a great basic we just got replenished-the black ponte Gwenevere is a fall staple. The fabric is thicker than a legging, so there is no show-through on the areas you would want more coverage (you all know what I mean)!!!

There is also a Kimmie straight leg, again made and named for the super curvy and sexy Kim Kardashian. If you have curves like Kim, don't despair, as 7 For All Mankind thinks of everyone!!!

NEW VINCE!!!

We just received a GREAT shipment of Vince in the store today!!! Today we received the cuffed boyfriend pants, cropped silk tee, ribbed cashmere turtleneck (in Black and Heather Cinder) and a yummy, cozy variegated striped sweater coat. The boyfriend pants look super cool with booties, the silk tee is awesome on (don't be afraid of the shorter length), and of course, the Vince sweaters are the BEST!!! Come in and take a look.

LBD's!

Every girl needs a great LBD (little black dress), and here are three fantastic new styles that just came in from Ted Baker. The first dress is fairly fitted, with sequin detailing in the front, and great little pockets. The next dress has bead and fringe detail on the neckline which makes this dress something special.  Finally, the last dress is structured with a zipper detail; it is very "Victoria Beckhem", and would look fabulous paired with sky-high black stillettos/booties. These are definitely not your ordinary LBD's!

New Velvet!

     

       More Velvet has come into the store. This shipment is super glamourous!!! The "Doris" top in Kiln looks amazing with cargos, and would be great for a lunch date with the girls ( yes, you can wear sequins during the day). The "Jacy" dress, in Black, is very sexy...add a few strands of your favourite Jocelyn Kennedy necklaces to the ensemble to really make a statement. The "Ora" dress, which we received in Red,  is absolutely stunning!!! I love the rouching detail on the bodice ( it hides all the extra bits and pieces). There are so many amazing pieces, I honestly can't pick a favourite.

Fun, new prints arrived from Lauren Moshi today!!! My two favs are the Butterfly tank and Skull t-shirt (the skull print is also available in a wrap); they are super cute! We also received a Dove print available on a heather grey pullover and/or brown thermal; a Unicorn print available in Plum on a ribbed long-sleeved t-shirt, and in a White boxy tee. Another great print is the Geisha...this is available on the back of a zip up hoodie (Black). Pair one of the t-shirts/tanks with a classic cardigan and jeans for an edgy look for day. Super Stretchy Glory Legging

These new Rich & Skinny pants are seriously comfortable.  They are made of a super soft, and stretchy twill fabric, which we received in "Dune" (pictured in dark moss), a soft brown/ khaki color, which is huge for fall. These pants are a great alternative to the cargo pant ( they are a little more subtle), and would look amazing tucked into a tall brown boot!

Wide Belts!

If you,re looking to add a little drama to your outfit a wide belt is a great way to make a statement. The "Brave" leather belts we received are stunning, I love the embellished leather! All these belts look great over any sweater, and personally I think a great belt can make any outfit feel more polished and put together. All the belts that are pictured above also come in black, come in and try one out!

More Vince...

We received yet another shipment of Vince this morning:  the Cashmere Hoodie and Cashmere Jumbo Hoodie. Both sweaters, available in Grey/Black and Black respectively, would be the perfect additions to anyone's wardrobe. Not only are these sweaters incredibly warm and cozy, but they're "thin" enough to be layered once the weather gets cooler.

The "Cashmere Hoodie" is my personal favourite...it's sooo comfy, you'll never want to take it off. Try layering this hoodie under a leather jacket for an edgier look, or pair it with a "puffy" vest for a more casual approach. Skinny Belts!

The skinny belt is a great classic that is making a comeback for fall! They were seen all over the fall runway belted over dresses...a "ladylike" look at Louis Vuitton. If you wanted to incorporate this trend, I would just wear a belt on top of a fine knit sweater. If the "ladylike" trend is not your thing, I love wearing the skinny belts at the waist on top of flowy, silk tops. It gives definition to your shape while still being comfortable; and of course, the skinny belt is perfect in jeans...it will fit through the smallest belt loops! 

We just received a bunch of new "Brave" skinny belts, and I am loving them all!!! My favourite is the one with little studs...soo cute! I would definitely wear it over one of my baggy, silk tops!

Whichever way you want to wear it, the skinny belt is definitely a must-have for fall!!

Ted Baker

Ted Baker makes such beautiful clothing, it is all so polished and classic, but with a unique twist. The new grouping we received definitely fits the bill! I love the "Noctil" top is great to go out in, I love the sequin detailing! The "Haplo" tree tunic is so beautiful and versatile, pull it down for a dress, or rouche it up to wear with jeans or leggings. The "Jerona" Dress is so chic, we got in Grape, it's perfect to wear to an event! 

New Nougat!!

We just received two new Cardigans from Nougat! The first Cardigan has a beautiful neckline embellished with metal sequins and jewels, which we have in Black. The metal sequins make this cardigan look more edgy, it is the perfect mix of "pretty rocker". I would pair any of my Lauren Moshi Tees underneath. The second cardigan is the epitome of girlie, I love the ruffles and the square buttons, it totally reminds me of Marc Jacobs. This Cardi would look great with a black silky top and some jewels!

OMG More Winter Kate!

Three more stunning pieces from Winter Kate arrived today! We received the Ophelia tunic in burnout velvet which is definitely classic boho chic. I would wear this belted tunic with a pair of lace up booties, or to add a little more drama, I would wear a pair of brown knee-high boots.

The Jade cardigan in burnout velvet, "silver swirl", and Jasmine cardigan in "peacock" are two body styles that we have seen from Winter Kate before, but these new prints are to die for. I especially love the "peacock" print on the Jasmine cardigan, its so glamours!

Hooray...New Winter Kate!!!

I am totally excited!!! We just received another "must-have" piece from Winter Kate...the "Lola Silk Crepe" Cardigan in Rust. This is a brand new body for us here at Yu Fashion; the top itself has bracelet length sleeves, and is slightly flared, with a hook and eye closure at the bust. Another Cozy Sweater From Free People

So today we received the "Stripe Up" cardigan, which is the perfect little sweater to throw on during a rainy day (which we have been having way too many of). The wool/angora/viscose blend makes this cardie super soft without being too itchy. The new James Jean cargo's in grey would look amazing with this cardigan! What's Mabel Wearing????

Sorry, Mabel was on holidays last week, but now she's back in action and in a new outfit! This week Mabel is wearing a Winter Kate Cami and Odd Molly 'Mix Wool' Sweater. I love the tone-on-tone oatmeal, it just looks so cozy! We layered a mix of Karyn Chopik, One of a Kind, and Chan Luu organic jewellery. I love the organic jewellery with this outfit, it just adds a nice, casual, bohemian feel to this outfit. I think wearing a lighter color in fall looks so chic, and a little unexpected.
