Vince Boyfriend Shirt

Oversized Shirts have been worn by everybody in fashion's "in crowd" this season, so of course WE have one! We just received the 'Boyfriend Shirt' by Vince in Heather Grey. This shirt would look great with skinny jeans, a colored scarf, and boots. If you wanted to be a little more adventurous, I would wear the 'Boyfriend Shirt' with a pair of wool shorts layered with tights, and a pair of ankle booties.      

James Jeans Twiggy Cargo

Our favourite cargos are back, this time in Grey! Cargos have to be the biggest trend for the fall season, so if you are not yet on the bandwagon, it's time to get on it! If you are unsure of the trend, the grey is a great way to start as it is a great neutral, and a little less trendy than the army green. Wearing this trend is actually really easy, just substitute them in for outfits that you are already wearing your skinny jeans with. If you want to be a little daring, I am loving these grey pants with something red, it looks so good and a little unexpected! I love them with the new Winter Kate "Ginger Cardy" in Red. If that is too much for you, try them with a red scarf, or even red flats.  

Plush

Since it's getting cold again (it came way too soon), now is the time to stock up on Plush! Plush is a company out of L.A that makes tights and leggings that are lined with fleece. Plush was made for Edmonton winters, because you no longer neeed to sacrifice warmth to wear your favorite skirts and dresses! We just received replenishments of the tights and leggings, so drop by and pick up a pair!

New Odd Molly!!!

The weather that we have been having lately has been so dark and gloomy, but hopefully our new shipment from Odd Molly will cheer you up ( I know it made me feel better). The sweaters that we received are made of wool so they are super warm and will definitely do the job of keeping you cozy during the fall and winter months. The amazing prints/patterns incorporated into these sweaters is what I really love; the Butterfly Cardigan in "vintage cream" is super cute, and can be easily layered over any silky. The Long Lovely Knit Sweater in dark grey is definitely my favorite. The fringe around the hood gives the sweater a bohemian vibe, while the rose embroidery on the back gives this sweater a cool edge. Come in and take a look!

Joie

I have always been a fan of Joie; everything is always so beautiful and feminine, and these two dresses are no exception. The "Chateau Dress" which we have in Caviar has pleating at the neck, and a cute cap sleeve. This dress is effortless, and can be easily dressed up or down. Wear it with a pair of heels, and layer on some of your favourite necklaces for a great "girls night out" outfit, or wear it belted over a pair of leggings. The "Luanne" dress in Blue Violet is definitely one of my favourites. I love the pleating detail at the collar and the colour is so rich! For a little extra glamour I would pair this dress with a fur vest. Come in and give these fall dresses a try!!

New 7 For All Mankind Shipment

We received yet another shipment of denim this morning from 7 For All Mankind: Gwenevere w/ Scratch Dojo (Dark Rinse), Pull on Legging (Black), and Straight Leg (Antoinette Darling). Any, and all of the jeans mentioned, will work their way seamlessly into your existing wardrobes.

My favourite is the "Pull on Legging." The elastic used along the waistline is nice and wide, so *no divets!!!*

More From Free People!

I know, Free People just keeps pouring into the store ( but can you complain?). The newest goodie is a french terry jacket with a vintage inspired print. Pair it with a pair of skinnies and black motor cycle boots for the perfect winter outfit.

Add Coats!

These coats are definitely a winter must have! Add coats are made of nylon and are down filled, which makes them amazingly warm but light weight. The two long coats we received come in "hot chocolate" and black. The "hot chocolate" coat has a stand up collar while the black coat has a drawstring hood ( for those of us who like to be extra cozy!). The shorter style that we received in navy, has a large fold down collar, and gives this coat a "biker chick" feel, which I love! With the cold winter months fast approaching you won't want to miss out on these super cozy coats!

More From Free People!

The shipment from Free People that arrived today is to die for ( I want everything!). We received two really cute tops: the Juliette top, in "beige combo" or  "red violet combo" is light and breezy and I love the floral print ( very bohemian). The Full Moon top, in "neutral" has a super cute ruffle hem and sheer lace yoke; definitely not your ordinary t-shirt!

Groa

Groa, formally known as Casch, is a clothing line out of Denmark that focuses on originality. Their pieces are truly unique and made of boiled wool, so they act as a sweater coat... this line is perfect for fall weather in Edmonton! We received a bunch of different styles including the military jacket in Black and the button ruffle jacket in Grey.

Nougat!

There are some more Nougat goodies here at the store!! We received a couple new cardigans! They are just too cute, the detailing is insane! Drop by and check them out!

Plastic Island!

Our Fall Shipment of Plastic Island is here! I absolutely LOVE Plastic Island because their clothing is right on trend, it literally looks like it just came off the runway.

The Stoneage Faux Leather Zip Vest is a deadringer for Burberry's Shearling Aviator coats this season and the Black Magic Tweed Jacket looks like Chanel. These two have to be my favorite pieces! I love the Faux Leather Vest to dress up jeans and a t-shirt. The Tweed Jacket would look awesome with a Lauren Moshi Tee underneath.

The other three pieces pictured, the Geraldine Blouse, the Wasson Pocket Tank, and the Boyfriend Pocket Tee are great basics with a twist, a simple departure from your basic tees and tanks!

Bordeaux

We have just received a new shipment of Bordeaux... everything is so beautiful! I love their use of embellishment! Honestly, they take "deciding what jewellery to wear" out of the equation! Another great thing about Bordeaux is most of their shirts and dresses have built-in slimmers... it's probably the best feature! They suck you in, so can wear the tops with your skinny jeans and not worry about having a bulge! Drop by, the tops and dresses are even more stunning in person!

Amanda Uprichard

More Amanda Uprichard is here! We have just received the "Joan" Dress in 3 new colors: Red (pictured above), Fuchsia Feather (pictured above), and Grey. This dress is so cute and very versatile with the addition of leggings. I picture it for fall with leggings, a studded belt, and a grandpa cardigan.

The "Penny" Dress is really cute and girlie! I love the ruffles on them! We got both styles, the left in royal blue and the right in black. To edge up the dress, I would pair it with tights and combat boots.

New Winter Kate!!

The Fall Shipment of Winter Kate is here, and I could not be more excited!!! I love looking at all the fun prints and fabrics! This line is definitely out-there, fit for a true fashionista!

This time around, Nicole did her favorite style, the "Jasmine Cardy", in a Velvet Burnout! The colors in the "Jasmine Cardy" are gorgeous, it is a beautiful combination of purple, brown, and olive... all perfect fall colors! Velvet is a huge trend for fall, so this is an easy way to add velvet to your outfit. This wrap looks great with grey denim and a simple top or even cargo pants. With the "Jasmine", I would suggest wearing slim pants and neutral colors to counteract the length in the front.

A new style this collection is the "Jade", which reminds me of the "Eden" except shorter. I also find the shorter style a little more everyday, you can just throw it over your outfit like a blazer. The black silk "Jade" is a great basic, I think it would look great with skinny jeans tucked into motorcycle boots and a patterned scarf! The "Jade" in gold is a standout piece! I love the contrast of the pale yellow with the turquoise print! This totally has a 70's vibe, which is a big trend for fall. If you are a little more adventurous, I would wear this with a flowy top and bell-bottoms to channel your inner hippie child!

We received this super cute Bow Cardigan by Juicy in Grey along with a Ruffled Brown Plaid Shirt. Honestly, all of Juicy's clothing has the cutest detailing that makes them unique! Also, their quality is impeccable! Drop by and check them out.

Mackage Shearling Coats!

This fall Mackage has done some amazing shearling coats. They are just so glamorous! We received the "Macy" coat in black (as pictured above) and the "Kirstyn" jacket in brown; you will have a hard time deciding between the two! Shearling was a HUGE trend for fall, most notably seen on the Burberry runway! This is a trend worth trying because it is so cold here... so you'll get lots of wear out of the shearling coats. Apparently, we are the only boutique in Edmonton carrying the Mackage shearlings, so drop by and check them out!!
