We received the Ugg "Dakota" moccasins in a new colour today: Pewter, and like all Ugg shoes, these moccasins are amazingly comfy. Wear them both around the house, and outside...you won't want to take them off.

What's Mabel Wearing?

I love the summer months...warmer weather, no school, longer days, but when summer starts to turn into fall, I always get (more than) a little excited. Of all the seasons, I love fall/winter clothes the best. It's hard to beat layering on warm wool sweaters, and soft cashmere scarves!!! I find that fall/winter clothes have a feeling of luxury that summer cloths just can't match. This week Mabel is dressed in the "Gorgi Cardi" from Odd Molly; this wool/alpaca blend sweater has beautiful knit detail, and looks fabulous over the "Orly" top from Joie. Jocelyn Kennedy jewels, and a Chan Luu scarf finish off the look.

One of my all time faves is back: the "Shelby" from Line. I adore this sweater...can't say enough great things about it. Great fit, great colour, great feel...what's not to love??? I can't wait to wear this over a Nation Ltd. tee, skinny jeans, and a fabulous pair of worked in, distressed boots. Don't hate me, but I can't wait for the leaves to fall...

Just received a small, but fabulous delivery of Ella Moss! Included amongst the goodies are the "Silk Autumn" dress in Night, and "Silk Autumn" maxi skirt in Black. I ADORE both pieces...they can easily be worn right now, but would be just as relevant in the fall/winter.

What's Mabel Wearing?

I love blue and brown .... but usually not worn together, however as soon as Mabel put on the "Silk Autumn" dress from Ella Moss, I became a fan. The blue/brown combo gives this outfit a western feel, which is perfect for fall. The "Manon" sweater from Line, and Jocelyn Kennedy and Chan Luu jewels finish off Mabel's look. Pairing unexpected colors together is a great way to have fun with your wardrobe this fall; you don't have to revert to blacks/browns/greys, follow Mabel's lead and add some color!

Ladies, This Is How It's Done...

As we mentioned in an earlier blog, fur is/will be a HUGE trend moving forward into the Fall/Winter season. We had suggested a few ways in which you could interpret the trend, and incorporate it into your everyday wardrobe. Paige's Pick: "Henley Floral Burnout"

I chose the "Henley Floral Burnout" long sleeve top by Free People as the shirt I would like to showcase in 3 different looks for 3 different seasons. The top is a great piece to add to your closet for 3 reasons: it's basic, yet noticeably different, modern with a vintage feel, and finally, because it's both elegant and fun! 

For those who like a very clean and feminine look, this choice of outfit is for you! The Burnout top is paired with James Jeans and Jocelyn Kennedy necklaces, which gives any backyard BBQ pop of color!

For all of those who like a cool and sophisticated look, this outfit is ideal for you and perfect for the fall. Introducing...Manitobah Mukluks

Manitobah Mukluks is an Aboriginal owned company manufacturing various mukluks and moccasins. What's special about this brand is that they are made in Canada. The entire footbed of the mukluks is wrapped in 100% sheepskin, and genuine fur trim. Another great feature of the boot is the sole. It has a great grip, making it great for our slippery winters, and the thickness of the sole keeps your feet above the snow. We aren't the only fans of Mukluks, Kate Moss has been seen wearing her Mukluks all over Britian.

Maison Scotch

Maison Scotch, based in Amsterdam, specializes in casual clothing with a preppy twist. My favorite item from this shipment is the "Silky Polka Dot Top." Dots are HUGE for fall, and every fashionista needs this top! I love the idea of red and polka dots together, so I will definitely be experimenting with that look for fall!
